Show me your vintage stones

Yennyfire I adore your first ring and love the way you set your 3-stone. Both are so unique and SO GORGEOUS!! I wish I had that type of creativity, your settings really bring out the beauty of your stones!

Thanks Roxy! It took several tries before I got my forever rings right, but it was worth the effort!

Gorgeous stones everyone!! I love every single one of them!

Here's a recent purchase from JbEG - 1.96 OEC, J, SI2. And I also have a .75 OEC pendant sold as F VS1. Ebay though, so...but it does face up pretty white!
I was wondering who snatched up that 1.96 from jbeg, I am glad it went to a great home! Both of your OECs are beautiful
:appl:

I just saw this  I don't know if you're on PS very much these days armywife, but I wanted to thank you for your nice words and let you know I really appreciate them!

All very fashionable rings. :)

I think that sometimes having to work at it makes it that much more special when you finally arrive. Yenny, your collection is amazing, as are so many of the settings and stones on here. I am a chunky facet groupie for sure!

All of these are so amazing ladies. You all have such terrific taste.

My 3.11 OEC (in my original thread I mistakenly said she was 3.10, but I have the GIA report in front of me now) O-P VS2.

3.48 O/P VS1 Antique Cushion
20130120_154035.jpg

Adding my new (old) antique cushion at JaneSmith's request :)

It's a 3.48ct GIA S/T, SI1. I'm a sucker for low colors and I was totally inspired by Resonance's stone above and had to find something similar for myself!

I tried wearing a higher color for awhile and it just didn't suit me. I just set the diamond in a chunky hammered 22k yellow gold setting with a platinum bezel and blackened rhodium halo. Very artisan and slightly gothic, but no good pics yet of the finished ring (I literally just got it a couple of days ago.) I love it!

It's the same stone as in my avatar, however my avatar is squished, lol. The diamond is actually elongated. It's a very bright, lively, happy chameleon kind of diamond - sometimes it's white, sometimes ivory, sometimes lemon yellow and sometimes champagne.

Oh Erica, I cannot wait to see that ring! Sounds absolutely divine! Please do a SMTB thread!

That stone is gorgeous erica!!! I have fallen in love with antique cushions...maybe someday...looking forward to seeing your finished piece!

Inna, your collection is to die for!! I don't know how you decide which one to wear!

Dreamer, your ring is so beautiful, honestly that stone looks perfect and I really, really love the setting!

Reasonance, your ring is simply amazing!!! Looks so beautiful and substantial on your hand, I just love the look!

Allistra, I adore your diamond!!! I looks perfect on your lovely hand!!

These are my grandmother's wedding rings --and I'm thinking wedding watch. I don't think the rings "match," but the watch "somewhat" pulls it all together (or rather, explains the combination of round diamonds and baguettes).

Erica    that is such a beautiful stone!!! Please do a SMTB thread when the setting is finished!

Thank you Erica! Oh my goodness, I'm in love. Lust actually.

I think I'm just going to ban myself from this thread. I feel the strong pull of the dark side.

This thread is SOOOO inspirational! Thanks everyone for taking the time to post your antique bling...I love them all. The general public has no clue what they are missing in the old cut realm...less competition for us PSr's in the know, huh. Some day these lovelies will be very scarce.

Keep the posts coming!

OEC for my e-ring! I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself!!! I sent her back to the fabulous ladies at JbEG to be set and I miss her already.
