here''s mine -- 1924 Tiffany & Co Emerald & Diamond ring

Beautiful LWD!!
Now...do we get to see your asscher??
Last time I''ll ask...I promise!
1.gif
Hi Coati -- thanks for the compliment on my emerald.... I really appreciate it.

(short threadjack sorry...)
I would really love to show everyone my asscher.. and I''m very flattered that you asked and remembered me...
The people here are so kind, helpful and friendly. I owe everything that I have learned about gems/jewelry to the fine people here... and want nothing but to "give back" with tons of pics (plus, no one really appreciates my ring except PS''ers
7.gif
). But.... DH never wanted me to post because I have a "one of kind" piece... it was handmade by a local jeweler (paid a hefty $$ for the setting) and although it''s just a 3 stone with tapered bags, it is really a one of a kind the way it''s set...and made for me...
...and I kinda like that about it....but I feel bad not posting pics too.

I will try to make up for my lack of pics on my e-ring with tons of pics of my new 6ctw Platinum WF tennis bracelet that I should have by mid April
17.gif
.
Again, thank you so much for asking...

..back to programming....

WOOOOOOW!!!

So Beautiful and I thought I was strictly a dimond girl w/ the occassional pink interest.

Is this a family heirloom?
Thanks lisa1.01fvs1 and DMBgal82!!!

Here''s the thread on my emerald ring... thanks for the nice words!

My DH has several pair of gold and s/s cufflinks from T & C, as I have also s/s jewellery; but this is my latest acquistion, Frank Gehry Torque bangle. It gets noticed!

cheers--Sharon

Love the Gehry so elegant!

Lovewhitediamonds - just read your thread. Love, love, love

the pics. and story. Did you ever get Tiff''s to authenticate for you?

I am especially curious as I have just purchased a piece that is older and is supposed to be authentic. I haven''t received it yet but was planning to bring it in the store for exam.

I trust the vendor but still want the OK since the inscription/style doesn''t match contemporary pieces.

What is there policy ? You mentioned the "archives" and $500?

Hi lisa1.01fvs1:
Is your older piece Tiffany??
We did have it "authenticated" by Tiffany -- but never submitted it to their archives to get "history" on the piece (i.e. who bought it, where it was made etc). I just didn''t want to leave it in NY for months, pay $500 and they come back and tell me they found nothing..... it was good enough for me that it came back appraised from Tiffany for 4x what I paid for it!!! Here''s the LINK to info on Tiffany archives.... Good luck!

Thanks LWD I just want it "authenticated" so that I know it truly is a tiff''s. Not an important piece like your emerald but nonetheless want to insure I''m getting what I paid for.

Good to know they will confirm that an item is theirs.

It a plat. half channel set diamond band. Looks like an older style similar to one of the celebration rings.

Here is my T&Co engagement ring.

I couldn''t bump either of the older threads, but I''m interested to see who''s got the classic T&C stuffs. I''m itching to buy something but I can''t, so I have to live vicariously through you all
2.gif
I had the same itch last year and couldn''t afford anything big and blingy, so I compromised and got myself one of the Tiffany silver rings as a "Yay, I got into my first-choice grad school!" present.

Ooh, I love all the pretty things! Esp. Frank Gehry stuff. Being in LA I see Frank Gehry''s architecture every day (and actually spend several hours a day inside of it...) and it''s just so artful - makes me want to get some pieces from his T&Co. collections.

I have a T&Co three stone, with .83 ct RB flanked by .32 tw pears, and a .86 cttw eternity band. Unfortunately, my eternity band has been eating into my e-ring over the past 4 years. I''m hoping to upgrade (non-Tiffany''s) and will probably get something higher set to fit better with the w-band. Then I can wear my T&Co as a RHR!

I''m wondering whether Tiffany''s would replace/repair my prongs and how much it would cost - anyone get repair done by them? They replaced a melee free of charge once but that was within a year of buying the ring.

Here''s a profile pic with the shared prong eternity band...

Love Street, is that a Tiffany wedding band? If so, I am surprised that it is damaging your e-ring since theirs are usually set so low. I''d definitely take the e-ring to be repaired once you are ready to move it to your right hand. I don''t think it would cost a huge amount.

Love Street, can you post a pic from a top angle? I love how low the band sits.

Lovest - dying to see face shots of you beauts

DS - your Legacy band is simply devine, I''ve probably already gushed in another thread

I''ve always thought that T&Co offer lifetime complimentary servicing on their (diamond) pieces.
Last year I had a prong on my wedding band repaired by them and wasn''t charged for it.

Hi MoonWater: I''ll have to take a pic from the top angle. In the meantime, here''s a side profile which shows how low both the e-ring and the w-band are. It also shows the grooves in my e-ring prongs
39.gif
But, I do love how low the w-band is - I''m very active, never EVER take my rings off, and have only lost one stone in the past 4 years.

Diamondseeker: Yes, it is a T&Co band - but their 3-stone also sits very low (lower than their solitaire, IMO) which is why there''s so much contact with the w-band.

I''ll get to that top-view pic a little later, but here''s a profile

Oh, that''s good to know - thanks for sharing. I knew they cleaned, steamed, re-sized etc. but wasn''t sure about other work. When I lost my melee they almost acted like they would have charged me but for the fact that I was right around the 1 year mark from the date I purchased it. The prongs are getting veeeeeeeeerry thin where they''re being rubbed tohugh, so if I don''t upgrade...

I wonder if it would wear right through - hopefully not..

Lovin all your pretty pics!

Here are my wedding rings, I just realized that I didn''t post them here.

Very nice. I love low set rings. I''m not active but I don''t wear a lot of jewelry so I''m always worried that I''ll bang up anything set high. Plus it''s just something about the look.

Here are my 18kt Rose Gold hoops from Tiffany. They are a fantabulous pair of earrings for everyday wear! The rose gold also looks so much better with my skin tone than yellow gold does.

nice earrings!

Love Street- I have a similar problem to yours. The prongs on my wedding band have been rubbing away at the ''donut'' area underneath the prongs on my e-ring.

I need to take it in to the store to have it looked at. While I''m there I might try and find a plain band to wear as a spacer in between them.
