Lauren, I really love that aqua asscher.
How would you compare the light show of diamond compared to aqua?
Does the aqua's fire have all the colors of the rainbow like diamond?
When you do see the colors are they shifted towards blue?

Kenny - as much as I love it, an aquamarine asscher just can''t compare to an asscher diamond. It appears to glow more so than exhibit fire. The tilt window, which is evident in all lower RI stones like aquamarine, makes it a bit less excting to wear than an asscher diamond. But, the colour of this one, although not top at all, is very pleasing to me, and it''s 2.9 ct. so over 8mm and the patterns are really evident.

It''s not at all like a blue diamond. Speaking of

. . . what''s the status of your blue diamond search?

Sure thing! Dirty ring but here is the profile. I do really love the profile, I just wish the prongs were less noticeable.

Instead of a round in the center, mine is princess cut, and instead of the round''s on the corners mine is marquise. May I ask where you got it? I should post a shot of mine, its crazy how similar they are!

I saw yours on here not too long ago and thought the same thing. What are the specs of yours? I love it with the Marquise corners!

It''s just so pretty.

I got mine a while back secondhand. The center stone a a shy 2, I think around 1.95, with 1 and 1/3 ct side stones. The center is around a J-K VS clarity, very good to excellent (not ideal) cut. The 8 stones that make up the halo are G-H, VS clarity.
