Show me your lovely, dark, and deep gems

It was suggested to me that I should add my rhodolite to this thread. So here she is. My phone doesn't take a great video, so I apologize for the quality. But the color is accurate. And she sparkles like crazy. It's a 3.4 carat custom precision oval Tanzanian rhodolite cut by Jeff Davies and Son.
And this is the setting I've chosen.il_794xN.7166628413_8u0z.jpg

Yessssss! Dark color, bright sparkles, love it!

All such beautiful pieces and great thread! Here’s one of my favorite dark CS (sapphire) rings- one is the vendor shot and the other is on me and shows the darkest it can get depending on lighting

Drool. I love how deep it goes. Is it green-blue?

Zircon with diamond sides, I guess around 1930.

Nice… so used to seeing turquoise zircons. This is lovely.

Yes! Blue green! One color shows more depending on the lighting

Mmmm lucky you. My favorite color is somewhere on the continuum of green-blue. I say “teal” but the exact point is hard to determine! I am waiting on a slightly greener stone (blue-green tourmaline). Would love to see a thread of your ring.

I thought I'd add another dark beauty to the thread. This is my London blue topaz, also cut by Jeff Davies and Son. I had it set in a 14K white gold vintage style halo with G, SI1 natural diamonds. It's my favorite ring.

Great do you know the origin? Mine too with Corundum

Not exact for the blue other than Burma that I can remember.
The red is from Namya.

I hope one day for a silky blue sapphire myself, if I get very lucky, the perfect peacock shade. Then again, I've seen the prices! It's just a dream, for now.
