Sorry you are not having any luck! I was in a "fancy" local jewelery stone a while back and they had a monster emerald cut on display--6cts or something. I was shocked when the salesman said "believe it or not it's a k". It looked really beautiful. I have a 2ct "h" square emerald and the color is very pretty--I'm sure your "j" will be, too..... BTW--I'm not looking for a "j" step right now, but I LOVE color and am looking for an even lower color stone--like a M--for an antique style ring I want to make. Lots of ladies like color & embrace it..
I can''t believe I didn''t think of this when I read the title yesterday. He doesn''t post here anymore, so I know he wouldn''t see this. It''s a gorgeous (to put it lightly) 1.96 J Royal Asscher.
I have a J colored stone. It is a beautifully cut 3.24 ct emerald cut. I love it. It faces up very white. I had it set into a five stone ring designed by Leon Mege''. The side stones are ctw 1.41 and are G color. I cannot see any variance in the color. I have attached a link with pictures of my ring. Good luck in your quest for that perfect stone!
