Hey Kenny......any tips you'd care to share with us photo rookies to help us take better pictures would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Your pictures are always amazingly clear with such detail and vivid colour. Also....please keep it simple!!!! Thanks

The photography is half the problem. The other problem you can't control is the monitor the pic is being viewed on. Every monitor is different. Just because it looks accurate on Kenny's screen, doesn't mean it does on mine.

And diamonds are moody. Even my F asscher will look yellow with the right lighting and walls around it.

GO OUT and SEE WARM STONES FOR YOURSELF and see what you think is really the only responsible advice we can give you.

Bump =)2 I am considering an EC and have been looking at mostly L and lower. Seeing more would certainly become helpful as I embark on this journey. I had been drawn to mostly OECs and love them in the lower colors, but ECs are so different. I have definitely caught the step cut bug. :kiss2:

Hi- here is my 4ct J (med Fl) w H color halo. It is very white looking and you cannot see a diff in color w the pave versus my stone. I saw K colors w Med Fl that were white looking and one L w Strong Fl that blew away the higher I’s I saw. So it really depends. I had two F colored EC’s before this and while this may not be as “white” it looks it and the cut is the best I could find which I think helps. After seeing the lower colors, I would never hesitate looking at them - w the med/strong Fl (as long as the cut is great). Good Luck. Can’t wait to see what you pick. Ps. I can’t remember a PS’r tag name but she has an L that is to die for. I’ll look to see if I can find it for you.

Yep and here she is set with strong blue fluoro

I also have a K color EC no fluoro looks just a tad warmer 2.4ct typically I think smaller diamonds look whiter to their larger counterparts of the same color grade but in my case the Asscher appears whiter even though it’s larger at 3.72 ct

Ah soothes my soul!! i get to feast eyes on your gorgeous stack, again!!:roll2:

J color with G color side stone. Was thinking about trading up on the color but decided to keep as cut has great fire with a big table that reflect lights. Some time it looks super white. In other occasions, it picks up the surrounding color and blend with its own body color - an interesting study.

Very white when the surrounding is white like at Saks Fifth.
