I have two that I consider a gypsy setting! One is my transitional 1.5ct diamond solitaire, the other is a 5 stone gypsy or bombe ring. Maybe that shouldn’t be included here? I love both but the 5 stone doesn’t get out as much these days! 88AD7D4E-86D0-4E2A-844D-62FC1CE5E426.png E433B8DF-C565-47E3-BA98-82683E38C277.png 3FCEC880-E6E1-4CA5-8302-1310ECEADD98.png 228FDED5-032E-48B4-8CF7-25A172CF9ADA.png

I love them both, but that solitaire is extra yummy!!! :kiss2:
Does it sit very high off your finger? Is it possible to see a profile shot?

These are ones I took when I got it, surprisingly it’s sleek enough and sits well on the finger! No catching on anything which is brilliant! 79908DFA-C16F-4743-A5BC-96D4B41AFEC3.png 318CF827-D210-42FD-9D5B-5A8F54FFA027.png

Thank you!! That's a much lower profile than I expected for a stone of that size. Looks really wearable, which is always my primary concern. I don't care for tall/high set rings for myself. I'm far too loosy-goosy with my hands.

It’s so comfortable to wear! I will say though that I often get a mark where the stone is resting on my finger, I don’t notice it at the time but when I take it off it’s there!

I’ve become enamored with Brent Neale Gypsy rings. I’m seriously considering resetting my diamond into one of these. 13388AB2-CDCE-4E9D-B2C7-0861FCF0D2CB.jpeg B4485852-2921-499A-8585-9F63ED9A068A.jpeg A8428A3F-7842-4531-834A-A75F74BC27F2.jpeg 758A4AA1-D8A6-477A-87AC-A80CBA65546D.jpeg 933EFC76-D1E2-4E7F-88AD-3CBA9FB53A6F.jpeg

I am obsessed with these! The comfort and all the glowy gold, so good. I vote yes!

I LOVE a good gypsy ring! Here's mine: .9ct E VS2 AVR with 2 x 9 point AVRs - D SI2 and E SI1 - set in platinum. Central stone is 6mm in diameter, so I'm guessing the ring overall is 8mm. It's a size 6.75.

Bumping this thread because I also have them on the brain; I love the shape of yours @mrs-b . Also tagging @Lookinagain since hers are amazing. How heavy is your new one Lookin? When I google vintage, some are heavy and solid, others quite lightweight.

Here is mine! 14k Rose Gold gypsy ring. It has a solid back. Center stone is .84 or 6mm AVR moissanite. The two sides are 4mm each AVR moissanites from Jon at Distinctive Gem. Ring size is 5.25. The band is THICK! I’m not sure on the mm of the total width. Made by Daniel M jewelry

I love the shape of this one too!!! Is it heavy?!

@Mreader I think you and I are on the same wavelength. I'm so enamored with @Lookinagain & @mrs-b & @Sprinkles&Stones 's rings. I have my stones all ready to go, I just need to decide if I want 18k YG, WG, or platinum! And of course, then get up the gumption to actually reach out to someone to have the ring made. o_O

That is great that you have your stones! Seems like DK might be the person to contact since he did the rings for Lookin and Mrs B!

Not sure which you are asking about but they are both substantial. The platinum weighs 10.9 grams and the YG weighs 8.1 grams. And yes, DK made both.

I do have a hankering for a gypsy ring for my pinkie. But I really want a transitional diamond with that classic checkerboard cut to go in it and they are rare as hens teeth.

My 2 gypsy rings. I love how comfortable they are to wear.
3 stone is an Edwardian 2ct old cut diamond and is a size 5.
The small 5 stone is a vintage 0.20ct diamond ring in a size 6.25. EA9495C8-2311-442A-97B6-75A50535F47E.jpeg 2A1245F7-7F16-4EF2-A3AE-55A39A64AA1B.jpeg

The stones I have for the one I plan to have made are MRB's, and they're VERY nice, D/E, XXX, etc, but I fear I'm going to eventually wish I had old cuts.

I have a few small stones that I was going to put in a pendant but I rarely wear a necklace. Maybe they’d be better off in a ring. I’m really into a heavy smooth setting.

Does anyone else have flush set rings to share?

Am I on the tail end of a trend or joining in with a timeless style?

To me, they're timeless. There's a reason people have been wearing the style for more than a century.
