Ring settings, bands, bracelets... show me your engraving! Close up shots showing the patterns are especially welcome.

I'll begin. This is my hand made, antique, platinum setting with wheat style engraving on the shank and milgrain around the bezel.

This ring is incredibly delicate. The halo is a fraction of a millimeter thick. The shank is only 1.2mm thick. And yet because of the antique alloy and fabrication methods, the ring is so strong. The engraving is in near perfect condition, despite the age. It is really quite amazing.

Fun thread! I can’t wait to see all the beautiful engravings!

This was my grandmothers e-ring from 1932. It’s white gold. It appears to be very fragile but I imagine it’s quite strong, like yours.

The engagement ring in my stack here doesn't have it, but it does show the other two! All vintage rings. Bottom orange blossom band from Etsy, the other two I got on Ebay.

I have two engraved bands but this one is the crispier of the two and was an EBay find :appl:

Engraved pendant from DK and ring from CvB. The quality of the engraving on both pieces is impressive.

BE engraving. Beautiful work but it feels a bit rough compared to VC’s and DK’s work

Omg this ring is my goal!!! Its so beautiful! And it reminds me a little of the antique garnet one I have. So pretty!!!!

Oh, I love all the engraving! I aspire to have more things engraved as I think it makes a piece extra special! First is hand carving on my CVB deco design sapphire ring. Then a CVB deco pendant with engraving I love which is done by the same engraver as Yenny's ring.

I just took the photo of Uni (top) but the ones I got from David of Sunshine are better than any I can get right now.

Love, the flowers. The detail work on these vintage pieces are just wonderful.

Late to the party!
I'm on a roll of quoting myself, because I'm lazy...

If you've already thought of this- I apologize
If you are looking for something 'different' in the engraving aspect-
Don't limit yourself to looking at rings - search for lockets / cufflinks as well.
That's where I found my inspiration:

You ring will be gorgeous either way you choose-
Heck- wear it polished smooth for a while, you can always send it back when you are certain!

I have this one saved from the same vendor, that I'm really feeling lately:

Have you picked yours yet?

I'm not sure if this is engraved or cast. I am really loving the snake band by SS that I just got.

Sssss
