Ring settings, bands, bracelets... show me your engraving! Close up shots showing the patterns are especially welcome.
Omg this ring is my goal!!! Its so beautiful! And it reminds me a little of the antique garnet one I have. So pretty!!!!I'll begin. This is my hand made, antique, platinum setting with wheat style engraving on the shank and milgrain around the bezel.
This ring is incredibly delicate. The halo is a fraction of a millimeter thick. The shank is only 1.2mm thick. And yet because of the antique alloy and fabrication methods, the ring is so strong. The engraving is in near perfect condition, despite the age. It is really quite amazing.
I have this one saved from the same vendor, that I'm really feeling lately:If you've already thought of this- I apologize
If you are looking for something 'different' in the engraving aspect-
Don't limit yourself to looking at rings - search for lockets / cufflinks as well.
That's where I found my inspiration:
You ring will be gorgeous either way you choose-
Heck- wear it polished smooth for a while, you can always send it back when you are certain!
