Thank you! I think they are pretty small at .25 CTTW. They came in baskets with screw backs but I had them reset into martinis.

Adding my pair of studs. GIA EX, 0.6ctw (0.3ctw each), G S1 eye clean. I guess I'm lucky to have a very small lobe, so even 0.3 takes up almost all of it! Don't think I would go any bigger than that. Excuse the aweful ear shots

Lovely earrings on you!Is this from Purely Diamonds, London? I have a small one (.25tcw) from them for my extra lobes with same setting and I love how it sits flush on my lobes. I love it!

Thank you! Yes, they are from Purely Diamonds. I have to say I wasn't sure about the setting at first from their online photos, but loved it since the moment I put them in. Very flush, sparkly and the backings very secure.

Upgrade time!

I was going to upgrade my original .80 ctw ACA's in two years as a retirement gift to myself but then I thought, why wait?! Why not enjoy an upgrade now to see me through!

I reached out to Michelle at Whiteflash to get the process rolling. Michelle picked out a few pairs for me to look at and compare. I chose H VS2 1.204 ctw ACAs set in platinum 6 prong crown settings with locking backs.

For anyone considering it, the upgrade process was painless - honestly, the hardest part was waiting for AGS to verify the returned diamonds. Here are some pictures of my new sparkle bombs.

Whoot I finally have the opportunity to join in this thread with my new studs! Several years ago I sold my old studs (one was an ex's engagement stone, the other was a mate I purchased for it to wear them as a stud pair) which performed horribly. They were 1.82tcw and were about 6.02mm.

2 years ago I had my earlobes repaired (holes stretched from dangly heavy earrings) so I was finally ready for new ones now that I had properly placed holes and appropriately sized lobes (lobes were lightly reduced in the process).

I worked with Liza at Whiteflash to source a pair I thought would suit me and my budget, while trying to get close to the 7mm mark.

They are AGS 000 2.42ctw I SI1 set in 6-prong YG crown settings. I'm happy. At first I thought wow...these are massive, and a little concerned about daily wear, but I'm rapidly getting used to them. I'm wondering if I upgraded down the road how much bigger I could go without going "too big" if there is such a thing. Also soon I'll be getting a significantly smaller pair to wear in my 2nd hole, and also for those days when I want to be a lot less blingy (gardening, sports, etc).

Excuse the redness of my Tragus as I had a piercing there and am letting it heal closed.
