Three down, one left to go. Adam really is the best! 3.43 ctw, M VS1/VS2, ~7.7x7.5 mm diameter. They sparkle beautifully and I am mercifully color insensitive, so they look perfectly white to me (all of my OECs are lower color, and I love the subtle warmth). I upgraded from 7.1 mm studs, and the size difference really was noticeable! I told DH that I think I am done. :roll2:

WOW!!!! How gorgeous and perfect are these earrings?! Fantastic cut on them and they look really white. I have been thinking about finding a match for my rhr oec diamond (my avatar) which is 7.5x7.7mm and making earrings, it's fun to see what that exact size will look like!

Thank you @goldenfire !! I am so delighted with them - i think this is a perfect size. Adam @ OWD does such a great job picking pairs. I work in the OR so its really the only jewelry I can wear everyday, so this is the jewelry that I end up upgrading, LOL.

    Here are mine!

I have to tell you all, I got these because seeing your pictures made me crave studs so badly! :kiss2: That was almost 5 years ago, back when I was just a lurker.

5 years makes them eligible for a size upgrade from my jeweler, yay! Does anyone here have a deal like this? How has it worked for you?

Specs: these are .38 ctw, in a martini setting, and this is what they look like with their jackets on. I chose to have a slight gap to accomodate the prongs so they wouldn't become too scratched.

They're Ideal Cuts from Lazare Kaplan. I do think they cost way more than any other regular .19 diamond, BUT they do face up a lot larger. 5mm with their setting.

Those are so pretty! Honestly, I would not trade those in. I'd keep them as they are or maybe later use them for side stones for a ring, or something. You'll drastically overpay at a regular jeweler for branded round diamonds. I'd recommend looking a the popular superideal cut vendors here when you are ready to buy new studs (Whiteflash and High Performance Diamonds), because they have much better upgrade policies and better pricing than most brick and mortar jewelry stores.

I'm also crying, though no one can see it. (I do not have the ear meat for something so glorious!)
