show me your diamond stud earrings .25 - .50

Carat range from .25 to .50, I''m trying to get an idea of what size would look best. I''m planning my next bday present to myself.

Also, as an aside, if you had a choice between diamond studs or a diamond pendant necklace, which would you choose? (I''m also planning my best friend''s bday present).

To answer your second question, on a given budget I would prefer the pendant b/c you can get a bigger 1 stone (pendant) than 2 (earrings). I have both, smaller stones, bought on a small budget, and I get so many more compliments on my pendant than earrings b/c my hair covers my earrings!

FireGoddess I love the baby bezel. I considered them to make the earring look more substantial without getting bigger diamonds. It''s nice to get a visual, very cute indeed!

This pic isn''t the greatest, but here''s an ear shot of my WF bezels a la FireGoddess/Tiffany DBTY. The diamonds are each AGS0 .308 I/VS2 Expert Selections, so .616 ctw. I really love how the two diamonds are exactly the same carat weight, color and clarity! And the setting makes them look a lot larger, which is great, because my ears and earlobes are not exactly tiny!

I also agree about the baby bezels...they really make the stone look larger than it is. My 0.4 ct stud did not look too much smaller than an 0.76 ct round a guy friend bought for an ering!! Wheeeeeee!
