The only thing wrong with some of those threads is that they are old and don't allow new cushion owners to post their rings. I started off thinking I wanted a radiant and fell in love with all of the cushions. I'm SO GLAD we went the cushion route instead Here's mine

I don''t know how to link threads so here is a picture of mine. It is rectangular LW ratio of 1.27 and it is in a Danhov setting.
I''m still very partial to cushions and would tell you to go for a cushion! This is outside with my head blocking the sun. HTH
