Show Me Your Blue Sapphire Rings: PS Addition

What a great thread! Blue sapphires are a stone I am drawn to, again and again. It’s a grey day here, so not sure new photos will add much, but I am going to try To find archived ones.

Here are my 3 Kashmirs, one with a dress change, a Madagascar and a color change.
All are no heat with AGL certificates.

Omg, beautiful collection! I too have grown a fondness for blue sapphires. Something about them is just so regal & magical! I am fond of all of your baubles but that pendant is something else! The pendant and solitaire are my favorites!

Me too! Thank you. The solitaire is from Madagascar and it is my go-to. The pendant is a Kashmir in an old Tiffany setting. It is my favorite Kashmir.

Can we see more of the bracelet?

Sure! It’s Art Deco, platinum. I sent it in to AGL, and the stones are sadly heated. Here’s a picture from my library, but not the best light, and the vendor photo. 9FD99638-D217-4DC6-B9BE-819487770D69.jpeg9B25D75B-8F1F-441D-99A3-DB014C8FD071.jpeg

What a beautiful collection! I am so drawn to the blues as well.

I’m not sure if this all works together or not, but I’m wearing this antique sapphire ring today. The second picture is to show the glow in outdoor light.

Works for me!

Aw thank you @ItsMainelyYou, I try not to look too crazy, although the older I get, the less I care!

Love this ring!

You can be crazy ring lady.
It ok! I'm crazy ring lady, too!

Yeah but I think you look more effortless or something. Watch, we’re going to be those 80 year old ladies in the retirement home looking like Mr. T!

And I pile on bracelets, necklace and earrings. And a pin on my coat!
So I might look like a walking jewelry store!

I am biased but I just love a gorgeous, step cut, cornflower blue sapphire!!

I see I never got around to posting my blue sapphire in this thread after I set it. It's 1.9 ct, heated, from Sri Lanka, in an 8-prong platinum crown setting.

And here is my 1920s maybe-Tiffany (the mark is very worn, as is the sapphire):

That was part of the reason I bought this ring, most of the rings of this style and period have round stones, so finding a step cut was pretty thrilling. I have no idea if the sapphire is natural or not but it is always blue, even in lower light, love that!

Mine is probably the most diminutive one but I love it so much. A heat-only Ceylonese sapphire from Finewater.

Oh that blue!!

Yes. Yes, it all works together. And yes, that gorgeous old-cut ring on your middle finger belongs there, and yes, you have beautiful hands, and yes, you were right to keep it. How I love that sapphire. And the other rings.
