Show me your blue colour change garnets please!

I am supposed to be watering plants but I am too distracted by my new cc garnet ring. (Thanks Katharath!) It is 1.1 ct , untreated, and sourced and set by Yvonne Raley. It must be my favourite ring right now because it is so sparkly and I always see different colours in it like flashes of purple when it is mostly steely grey. I have two other bluish ones that are too dark or too muddy. Please post pics of yours!

Wow, it certainly looks blue in the first photo - a rarity in garnets for sure - enjoy it! I wish I had some blues to add to this thread

I am SO glad you're enjoying that ring!! CC garnets are such interesting gems. That one is definitely a steely blue, it's really a beautiful color. The incandescent lighting is such a gorgeous purple too.

You did a very nice job showing the various colors!! I can never get that down with cc garnets. The clarity on that one is striking too, I agree. I've owned a small handful of nice cc garnets and this one had noticeably great clarity.

(I do still have two cc garnet jewelry pieces that I haven't sold, but I've posted pics of them a zillion times so I will hold off - and hopefully get to enjoy some pics from others...)

It's great that your cc garnet isn't overly dark like most I've seen. Sure, there will be gray but I think you've picked one that is able to handle bezeling. Mine is muddy and rather unattractive so I'm not posting it.

Thank you! The stone is held by small gold prongs that wrap under the band.
