Spinel in Beverly K. I replaced the original pink tourmaline with a light pink spinel I''ve had taking up space in my gem box.

So thinking ahead to adding a second band...should I go with the same diamonds or diamonds and sapphires? Maybe as a "push gift"?

I love Beverly K! Great thread idea.

Here in the Show Me the Ring forum, you''ll see a tab that says New Topic. Click on that and just tell a little about your rings! They are gorgeous, by the way!

D&T: LOVE. Love love love your new ring. It is STUNNING!

D&T,

Wow! I love it so much, that stone is gorgeous!

I am considering this setting with a similar sized stone, would you mind answering some questions? I''ve bugged pearlmans so many times already
littlebashfulguy.gif
and they have been so patient.

Can you tell me what you think about the quality and melee? I love how much coverage it adds, do you know the final mm including the halo? Do you like the triple wire shank? And lastly, how long did it take to get the ring made? Sorry to bog this thread with questions, but maybe others interested in Bev K would find it helpful too?

CBL- Thank you!
Shimmer- Thank you sweetie!
I'll try and answer some of your questions so to start off, I absolutely love the melees! they are quite white and bright! and VERY sparkly. I think the overall size is about 9.5mm-10mm (but I don't have a caliper) I'm just using my 8mm bezel peridot for reference. The wire shank adds a unique character, but it is a bit delicate, it kind of reminds me of a knife edge band (its not uncomfortable, but not super comfortable either) If I could do it over again, I might opt for a plain integrated shank (I think there is this ring with the plain shank) and someone else on here that actually have the ring but not with the double wire shank -can't remember who though

The gallery is a work of art and impeccable really. The bezel/milgrain that you can probably see around my stone, has a Double milgrain instead of plain (I didn't ask for it, but I think perhaps to mask a bit of uneveness maybe?
40.gif
I'm not too picky if there was milgrain or not, I was just a bit surprised that it wasn't plain like Uppy's (which I had originally in my mind) the ring probably took about four weeks total really after Pearlman's received my stone. It is a very lightweight ring, but very durable imo. The one thing though just make sure you know what kind of bezel around the stone you want ie: plain or milgrain (I also think my stone has a very low crown so that could have made the bezel a little more difficult thus the double milgrain perhaps?
Hope this helps. Can't wait to see what you get.

oops disregard my highlight post, I was imagining it more like the Yellow gold on Pearlmans'' where it was plain on the inside and the milgrain was just on the outer edge of gem... sorry hope that didn''t confuse.

Thanks D&T, for such a detailed answer--it really helps! I''ll be sure to post it here when I get it

Oops! Wrong post.

that''s a wonderful ring D&T - sort of modern and spaceshippy (it''s a compliment I promise!) but so graceful

Just updating the info. on Celentani''s Beverly K ring. She passed it on to me several months ago and I absolutely love it. The little diamonds sparkle like crazy and the pink tourmaline is gorgeous.I''ve even bought more pink clothes just to go with it

I would have a whole jewelry box full of Beverly K rings if I could! Everyone''s pictures of their rings are so stunning-so fun to look at and drool over!

I have a question for anyone who has purchased a Beverly K ring online, without having seen the actual ring in person first. Would you say the sample ring was almost identical to the real thing? (Of course, the weight of the piece is not what it would be in gold or platinum.) I''m wondering if the real thing appears more substantial in detail and finger coverage than the sample.

The photos posted here show beautiful rings that look much different than the sample I received. I realize these rings are generally made with petite mountings, but the details I see in photos aren''t that apparent on my sample ring.

May I add ts44's halo? I found it in a search this morning:

Same halo as D&T and Upgradable. ETA: 0.81 ct WF Expert Selection in platinum, with a custom smooth shank.
