I never would have thought I’d be so lucky as to have two AVCs. I’ve had an i, an h, a j, and my dream ER stone, this 1.43 g in an e-w platinum bezel. S-colour 1.06 mate set n-s.

Omg both are stunning.

I was lucky to become the new owner of ecf8503’s JbEG-set AVC. You can look up her thread, she’s an excellent photographer and I am not. I modified the setting by bezeling the AVC, super low-set. This setting is now perfect for me and my lifestyle. I’m reusing the gorgeous claw-setting in a new project.

I can't believe I forgot to add my 5 stone to this thread! It's just over 1.6ctw and the AVCs are 4mm, L/M VS estimated, from GOG. I've had for 3 years and I still love looking at it every day.

We are selling our house in Sydney at the beginning of next year and if we make a little extra I have my eye on an AVC which I'd like to put in to CVBs Giselle, if the stone still available.

My gypsy ring - both the center stone and the sides - all AVRs: 1 x .9ct E VS2 and 2 x 9 points, D/E SI1 and SI2.






And 2 more I no longer own - firstly, my 3.11 K VS2:



And them my R colored AVC. I can't recall its size - 1.97ct? 1.87ct? 1.83? It was somewhere between 1.8 and 2ct, and it was spread. It was also perfectly cut and a very beautiful stone.

Oh no!!! So heartbreaking but it will be fun to go on the hunt again. Some PSer actually found even better treasures after missing out on "the one"!!

Thanks @Diamondbug. It was obviously not meant to be! The stone had been online for over a year, and as soon as I started looking at settings and getting more serious about reaching out to put it on hold, it was gone. Hopefully it's just the universe pointing me down the right path

Yes, it will be fun to hunt for the right one and you have that fabulously gorgeous avc band to keep your finger warm while you look!!

Hi @McLaren I don't mean to be too forward. I recently purchased an AVC that I will be sending back more than likely tomorrow. I am getting video's from Jonathan on 2 other diamonds shortly. I so hope the one I have is the one you want!!! It's a 1.64 AVC. I have my fingers crossed for you!!!!

@McLaren I'm sorry. I was so hoping the diamond I was returning would be the one! Well I hope she comes back or as is so often the case, something you love even more shows up.

I am so happy to post right after @HS4S_2 since we have sister AVR's! I realized I got my first AVR and posted it on page 7 in 2013! It remained in a solitaire for 8 years until I FINALLY reset it into a proper "dress" by the wonderful Victor Canera in 2021!

Love your mom's stone, I contacted them to about having one cut specifically with SBF and they cannot do it, (only cutting lab materials and only H and up)
