Show me size 4-5 solitaires please! (and thanks)

Hi all,
I''m very new here~ My boyfriend proposed to me last weekend and wanted to let me pick the ring, and so here I am looking for photos to aid my decision!

So far I am leaning towards solitaire setting but I have really long and skinny fingers (size 4). I''m thinking of a stone about 1 or 1.5 carats, depending how it looks on my skeleton fingers (lol).

I have yet to go and try any rings on in a store, as we are in the middle of moving to a new city, so i''m hoping to get pictures to look at in the meantime

Thanks. It is cut in the style of an antique cushion called Old Mine Cut with large chunky facets.

Gosh, my fingers look huge on that pic, but they are also really short. i have little pudge hands lol.

I have seen the various threads about rings on fingers of different sizes, but when I opened up this thread I was expecting to see rings with stones of 4 to 5 carats. How efficient of you to have a stone as well as fingers that match the thread, Amethyste! Now I got to see a 4-5 carat stone (well...it''s a little larger!) even though I misundertood the title of the thread! Thank you for posting that photo!

Today I caved and went to a Birks instead of packing hehe~! I tried on quite a few rings and I actually think a 1ct might suit my little fingers best, maybe 1.25ct~ but keep posting your rings! I love seeing those solitaires!


P.S. I think I''ve entirely fallen in love with princess cut diamonds...

Here's mine. I'm 5-3/4, though I used to be 5-1/2. I also have long fingers. The .88 E SI1 solitaire is 2.75mm tapering to 1.3mm near the diamond. The band is 3mm.
