Hello!

I''d love to see 2.5mm pave bands on engagement rings (or wedding bands).

I''ve ordered my custom setting with 2.5mm band but I''m worried that it''s too thick... please reassure me!

Finger sizes would also be helpful (I''m a 7.5).

Thanks ladies!!

Hi there !!!

The shank on my ering is 2.46mm at the top, tapering down to a 2.0mm and my wedding band is a 2.5 (no pics of that though) and my finger size is 6.75.

I think 2.5 is PERFECT !

It''s not too dainy yet not too thick... alot of thinner bands seemed to disappear on my hand and the 2.5 mm pave had a presence on my hand but was not overwhelming.. I was worried as well, especially with the band, but I absolutely love it and am sure you will too !!!

Here is a pic of my ering and I will post the thread link with tons of pics of my ering from ALL angles !

BECG-Just read your ering thread. Comedy Gold!

I think 2.5 mm is the "goldilocks" size. The shank of my seven stone band is around that and I just bought two 2.5mm comfort fit palladium bands to wear as guard rings. It''s a pretty perfect size. Not too big, not too small.

Think of it this way too... a 2.5mm band will probably look similiar on your finger to a 2mm band on a size 5 or 6 finger if that helps.

Here is a picture of my 2.5mm 3-sided pave band. I don''t have a picture of it alone, unfortunately, although I do tend to wear it alone quite a bit on my right hand. It really is the perfect size!

This is my wedding set....2.5 mm pave set. I have a size 4.75 finger which has caused me nothing but trouble with the pave set, due to the fact that it needed downsized so much. In fact, sigh, my rings haven''t been "right" since 6 days after my wedding...in March! I''m still waiting!

But I digress....

I love the size on my finger. Any bigger would have looked bulky.

Best wishes!

While my bands aren''t pave, I wear a size 6.5 and the bands are ~2.75 mm. I like that width on my fingers. I''m sure you''ll be pleased with 2.5 mm!!!

Apologies for the tiny thread-jack..... but Giada, that''s a really great looking stack!

My shank is 2.5mm. Here is a picture with my wedding band (about 1.8mm) my ring size is 6.5:

I think your 2.5mm shank will look great, like others have said it is a great size, still dainty but yet still substantial.

hmmm... I never thought of it like that - relative proportions, I guess.... Cool. I feel much better

If it''s any consolation, those rings look right at home on your finger - just perfect!
