Should I worry about this diamond?

yeah but the AGS report is what dissapoints. Diamond is a VS1 and has a cavity.

Holy cow! What's not to love? If you prefer higher clarity find a VVS. Or find another ACA VS1 with a different inclusion. Are there inclusions that you prefer over others?

If AGS gave it VS1 it has to be a very minor cavity.

AGS is very conservative.
VS1 is a very very respectable clarity grade but like Swingirl said, keep shopping.

well I wasn't expecting a whole in a stone to still be considered a VS1 diamond. It just popped out at me because I never seen a AGS report before with a whole in the diamond and was considered a VS1

well I wasn't expecting a whole in a stone to still be considered a VS1 diamond. It just popped out at me because I never seen a AGS report before with a whole in the diamond and was considered a VS1

AGS is a HIGHLY respected lab, no worries there. No worries either with the cavity, it simply would not get a VS1grade if it was any kind of issue. If the diamond is not ' mind clean' for you because of the cavity, then ask BGD if they have another stone that suits you or VVS clarity as Swingie says, being disappointed in your diamond is not good at all!

The cavity is not the grade setting inclusion in this stone. That, and the fact that this stone is a VS1, tells me that the cavity most likely does not affect the appearance or the structural integrity of the stone. However, it doesn't matter what we think; if the stone is not "mind clean" to you because of the cavity, that's all that counts. Talk to WF about exchanging it.
