Should I? What do you think of this pearl (bad photos?)

I know nothing about pearls but here's one I thought was pretty. Any thoughts on if it is nice? I also wonder about the loop that suspends the pearl - it looks like there is either white glue around it or they screwed the eye hole right into some nacre. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks!

But seriously, the glue is OK. It's not a messy blob. A little bit around the hole is more security, in my opinion.
I like the simplicity of the big pearl and long chain. If you get it, you could dress it up with a diamond sectional piece as a spacer between the pearl and the chain.

Thanks @stracci2000 I love the shape of La Peregrina! Maybe if the pearl winds up being nice in person, Edwina could adopt it as her own...
