My husband gave me this necklace as my x''mas/baby gift. I have it for less than a month. I took it off last night and was getting ready to clean the necklace when I notice a black patch near the clasp area of the necklace. It''s not dirt for sure, and the necklace is made of PT950 so I don''t really know what that is. Should I take it back to Tiffany and ask them?

I would take it back. It looks like they did a soldering job but forgot to polish and clean it up before delivery. I hope they can clean it up for you somehow.
BTW, it's a very beautiful necklace.

Take to to them and give it to customer service and have them fix it. They will w.o any problem at all. I have no idea what it is, but it should not be there.

Gorgeous piece BTW. Can you tell us about it''s stats?

HI:

Replacing/changing the spring ring should do it..... (beautiful necklace BTW!!)

cheers--Sharon

CdnBlingGal & canuk-gal: thank you, I love my necklace..already very attach to it.

Beacon: I actually don''t know the status of the pendant, because my husband orignally bougt the style that kind of like a journey pendant but I want something I can wear everyday so we went in and exchange for this one. But we will receive a Tiffany certificate in the mail according to the sales person

I''d definitely take it back into them. They''ll fix it straight away for you. It''s a beautiful necklace-really gorgeous.

The original pendant is beautiful as well. Your a very lucky lady. But like you said, I agree that the solataire pendant is better for everyday wear.

For peace of mind I would take it back. It is very pretty! What a sweet hubby!

CdnBlingGal & Tacori E-ring: Thanks...I was really surprised by my husband because he keep telling me my gift isn''t expensive, just something small and make me promise not to return it.

After I open the box I was speachless, and of course I think it''s too expensive but He said it''s the last time he get to splurge on me before the baby come...after the baby come we won''t be able to spend that kind of $. He said it''s too thank me for the past months for carrying the baby...

Send it back to Tiffany today, the lady that help me tried to clean it off in the back but she said she couldn''t and she have no idea what that is. She is sending it to NY to get it fixed and will ship it to me in about a week and half.
