Should I pull the trigger on this EC?

It is best to have JA get ASETs for 2 other ECs at the same time as this one because their business policy allows up to 3 free ASETs only once. To get more or at a different time will require an additional fee. My gut feel says that this one might have leakage issues and the video is behaving too weirdly on my phone for me to make anything out.

I'm certainly not an expert....just an adoring owner of one of the little sparklies!!!!

My stone is very similar to yours in proportion (1.01 ct; 6.94 x 4.91 x 3.21 mm) so I thought I'd attach some real life piccies on an Australian size J finger (roughly 4 5/8 US) for your reference. Good luck with your search....and enjoy

Seems promising to me and my admittedly novice EC eyes.

Why not get an aset and see what then representative thinks?

It's got potential. Probably going to have some distinct contrast zones, but that's not a bad thing. 6.80*4.95* so basically 7x5, which is very nice.

H V1S is a really good value.

Request an ASET from JA.

Since you get 3 ASETs I'd also get these done too:

Ditto the above. The first one has potential and good spread. You might as well get 2 other ECs as contenders since JA gives you that option.

Having just purchased a EC from JA (0.9/G/VS1) I can concur that you definitely need to get a few your are interested in and have the gemologist review them in person. The one I ended up getting did not have the best specs nor the best overall ASET but the gemologist felt that it was the best stone they saw of the 3 when viewing them in person.

FYI- If one of the stones is not able to get ASET done (ie: it is not located in-house) you are able to buy the stone and get it shipped to the gemologist and they can compare it with the other stones you are considering and you have the option to keep the one you paid for or apply that money to one of the other stones.
