Should I or should I not?

My b-day is coming up on Sunday and I've been shopping around for some small diamonds that I want to work with later on. I found a cute .39ct round diamond for pendent but then as I was goofing around on different site I found another .39ct that matches the other one almost perfectly. Now I wonder if I should get both to make them into earrings or just get one to make the pendent.. decision decision~~

haha yeah, before I found PS I was never interest in any types of jewelery, now I'm crazy about diamonds lol... not sure if my fiance is glad that I found here or not

Well, since you found one and the price is right, you can always put it in a pendant for your birthday and keep surfing for another to match it and put the studs together at another time.

You SHOULD have a nice birthday present, you know.

Actually, I thought the measurements match quite well. But you'd need to also look at the table, crown etc.

Any chance you could buy both with a return period, see how they compare next to each other (perhaps post pics here for us to see) and then decide whether to keep or send back?

Okay, well Brian's crown angles are better, but it would still be a good match. However, I'd never do it because I think you will want to upgrade those stone eventually and it will be MUCH better to go with two from Brian or WF. They have a .33-34 I VS2 pair that would work as a nice pair. A little smaller but 1 color grade better.

lol yeah, I told him about it later and he thought it was funny~
well, one weird thing about my ear piercing is, I can't wear large studs. What happened was when I was little I got the piercing holes very high (which doesn't look good with large studs) and later on my mom made me get piercing again directly under the one I had which makes them very low. So right now I can only wear things like a very small pairs on top and a drop looking ones on the bottom. I'll take few pic. of my ears to show you what I mean later. I'm buying those lose diamonds not to make them into studs but to be the larger end of a everyday wear types of drop style earring or w/e it's called, I totally made that word up~

Well, that looks pretty! Great idea to add the second hole! If you think you'd never upgrade and plan to set them locally anyway, then I think they'd be fine for leverback settings (which is what I think you mean).

Sounds like a fine match - you certainly won't see that one is smaller than the other once they're set and worn, anyway! People on here worry too much about earrings IMO - they're pretty forgiving, given the fact that your head is in-between and that there's a significant distance between wearer and admirer It sounds like a great size for short drops
