i bought a ring:

very lovely sparkling white 0.2 and a smaller one, maybe .15?
there is an chip on top of the smaller diamond that can only be seen with the 10x loupe,
it's bugging me a little, but the seller has been very sweet and i got it pretty cheap (i think).
so should i keep it? is it pretty much worthless with a chip on the top face?

thanks for your opinions

Ho tttt! You found a little treasure!

Do you have specifications on the diamonds? Curious to know!

The ring is gorgeous and I can't wait to see it in your hand! Pics for me please!

Congratulations! :appl:

scti, you are always so kind :)

according to the seller: they are 0.2 each, si1, color h, round. i think they are 0.2 and 0.15,
there's a slight chip on top, i also see a smudge here and there but no black spot. but i am not knowledgeable about diamonds...

here are more pix, they are just taken now at night, so the color is a bit off, it's 14k white gold:

i paid $225 for it. too much? too little? just right?

I'm far from an expert, but it looks lovely to me and I think you got it for a good price! Those are nice sized stones. It sounds like the chip isn't visable to the naked eye - and to tell you the truth, I think a lot of these older stones have chips - they've been around for a long time! I think it's beautiful, I would keep it and enjoy it.

It's an excellent price! This ring fit you so lovely! You have to keep it Sweety! It's a little treasure of the past and I love it!

i will listen to cute junebug and stci,
i will keep the ring to show it off to my mom this summer..
but eventually i would like something larger, so if anybody interested in some pretty starter diamonds, let me know k! :)

Yeah tttt :appl: You made a good choice, it is a lovely ring...

Enjoy!
