Should I go bigger?

Need opinions please

I purchased a pair of ready go 2.28 studs from DG. I was on the fence regarding LGD but decided I’m fine with them lol but
I need to return these regardless because they are in the wrong setting.

I could just have them reset as they are really pretty diamonds but now I’m unsure about size and cost.
I tried them on for size (they looked huge at first but that quickly vanished haha) and was originally thinking of ordering a pair Kim found for me at Ritani for a much better price BUT then I decided maybe I could go bigger??

I currently have a pair of Mini Victoria earrings from Tiffany in my second holes.

Yes, it should be a little more than 0.2mm difference on each ear, which is the point at which most people seem to be able to notice a size difference.

Inwfdlong back and forth for ages for my diamond stud size. Till I decided I would get a smaller pair (2.6ctw.) and then later on a bigger pair for more fancy events (4ctw.). So I think the current pair looks great for day to day life. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable with more during the day running around with jeans. But for the evening I would be happy to rock some 4ctw+ diamond studs

always go bigger if you can afford it now

also i think our ear lobes keep growing as we age
DSS is just around the corner
i know this
i dont wear my diamond studs
and they cost too much not to wear them, but they also arn't big enough to wear

@Kim N just wanted to say thank you for all the suggestions for diamonds!
I did decide to just keep the 2.28 ctw pair from Distinctive Gems though
I know I could have gotten bigger for much less from Ritani but these just had so much sparkle ( even more than the loose stone from BGD) and felt like such a good size I kind of got attached to them
I figured Labs are so much more affordable that I could get a second even larger pair in the future haha
Here’s a couple pics in the new three prong martini settings:
