Should I get ring independently inspected

I ordered a ring and I think it looks great.

Here are the details:
1.64 Carat Round Brilliant - AGS000, G, SI1.

I diamond set and I think it looks good but I don't know anything about diamonds. Most on this board assured me that an AGS000 was safe.

I am just wondering, would you/should I do anything else with it in terms of getting it inspected?

By the way I ordered from Ritani direct.

Here is the ring (with pics):

You said its AGSOOO is it a certified stones. I gotta say it looks gorgous I read your entire other feed. I even thought I saw beautifully laid out hearts and arrows in the stone. If the only paper work you are getting is from Ritani I might have an indepdent appraiser look at it. But If I were your finance I'd be thrilled. Remember most people know nothing about diamonds and you have done your du diligence so kudos to you

Thank you for the kind words. Ritani sent me the AGS certificate as well as the AGS scintillation report - do you mean I want to get paper work from someone else or were you asking if they provided the certificate?

Where did you think you saw the hearts and arrows? In the picture of the stone I took in the Show me the bling thread?

If you are talking about being sure it is the right diamond, get a loupe and compare the SI1 inclusions to those on the AGS report.
They may be hard to find, but keep looking in all kinds of light.

This is preferred to paying someone to see if the diamond really matches the report.
It's a skill you need.
You should loupe it when you get it back from being cleaned or serviced the moment they hand it to you in the store.

Beautiful ring/rock!
