I dont have any further specs on the diamond but can any of yall tell just by the few pics if you think it would sparkle well?

Yes, please buy it. The stone looks great and that setting is gorgeous!

Your ring is gorgeous!
Is it good price?

looks sweet

Thanks everyone...I am waiting on the sarin report

That setting is beautiful!

Anyone have an idea where I could find it?

TIA

I actually had that setting custom made....I can send you some detailed photosand any place can recreate it im sure. They hand engraved the side, which I think really finishes it off

It''s the side carving that really sets it apart! If you could send me the information on how you went about custom designing it, I would appreciate it.

Congratulations on a beautiful ring!

Step cut stones like Asschers and Emerald cuts do not sparkle like rounds. You could put it on an ASET and compare it to other Asschers to get good idea how well it returns light.

I'm confused.
You are asking us if you should buy the asscher, which is already set in a setting you had custom made?

How did a diamond you don't own get into your setting?
Is it that you actually bought the ring and diamond and you are within the money-back return period and you are asking us whether you should keep it?

And I certain agree with what Paul says.
I usually wear my avatar's asscher, which I love.
Occasionally I'll wear my round, and although much smaller it blows my head off with sparkle and light return compared to the asscher.
Both stones are are top cut.

Asschers are more about the magical effect of of pattern of the cut, although I also certainly enjoy the large bars of fire too.

Before you send the design to someone else you should check with the designer. Many designers stipulate they own their designs.
