Should I add this halo to my solitaire or no?

Here is a video of my ring under fluorescent light with bands, and without:

I like the unique look of a halo, and how it adds oomphed and sparkle but I am scared it may be too busy with my setting and wedding bands. I also like the way my diamond look at on the side and I know the halo will cover some of my diamond side view. I go back and forth, what do you guys think?

It is 1.5/ F/Vs2
Ring finger size 6-6.25

I tried on that halo and didn't like how it looked, but I see such pretty ones on here ☺

The problem with adding a halo to an existing engagement ring is getting the setting style to match the ring exactly. If it's not a perfect match, it may drive you crazy. Your ring is gorgeous as is.

Well, it's obviously a matter of personal opinion, but MY opinion is "hell no!" Your ring and band look so elegant and your diamond really pops!!! I LOVE it as is. Best of luck!

I have to agree with the No's on this one...I think that your split shank ering already looks fabulous and does not need anything extra. If you want more finger coverage, I would look into just upgrading the center stone. But as of right now the diamond and ring itself is very elegant.

I agree with PP. It may look disjointed and busy. I like your set as it is. If you really want a halo, I would look at setting where the halo and shank were designed to work together. If you like that halo, you can have it added to a plain shank and that actually might provide some nice visual contrast to make the whole this less busy.

to me your ring is really very modern, cool, and adding a halo would to a certain extent change that.. I'd go for it to be totally reset in a new setting or keep it as it. My .02$

Thanks everyone for your feedbacks and comments. After reading everyone comments I think I will just leave my ring alone and just wait to upgrade the center stone.
I don't want to do anything I will regret.
