Obviously as a grown woman you’re not asking strangers how to wear your ring, so “wear it however you want” really goes without saying. So I get that’s not the answer you’re looking for
If you’re asking how they’re traditionally worn, it’s point out a towards the nail.
If you’re asking which looks better to me? God I really hate point in, towards the hand.
Idk how I voted, apparently, because @Ally T out here saying up is down and left is right haha
I think maybe you and @YadaYadaYada are saying the same thing with opposite terms.
The reason it’s usually point towards the nail (which I think you’re both saying) is because your finger is wider at the base and thinner as it goes towards the nail, and the taper of the pear flatters that, worn the other way the perspective is off.
I prefer it pointing towards the tip of the finger, not sure if that's considered up or down? (I call it pointing down because I refer to the anatomical position of the body)
Can't tell as it is dependent upon the shape of the stone itself and the setting.
Of the setting inspirations for pears to date, which is very limited as I am not keen on pears and don't have one in my collection in CS and diamonds, natural or lab grown, they all have the curve side of the pear pointing away from the body.
