Shopping for a Ring

Hello and hopefully i can find some santa diamond helpers please! Ive been looking and had my first visit to a diamond store this week to get an idea of what they look like through a microscope and to just see it first hand. A good friend of mine recommended i come and shop online and i believe im all for it just would like some help since its such a huge thing. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
My budget i would like to stay under 8000 on the diamond.
I would like to be above 1.0 ct.
After seeing an F i was really impressed by the color however im also stuck on the fact that i would like to have a diamond as internally flawless as possible. Im willing to sacrifice color and spend more money on the later part of my problem.

Ive attached 3 diamonds that i feel i have narrowed it down to however totally open to any suggestions that someone else might be able to assist me with.

Another question i would have is if i do buy a loose diamond would you recommend i go through a local dealer for the setting or just go through and online vendor who i buy my diamond from?

Hi Steve

The first GOG diamond looks good, looks as if the hearts image might be slightly tilted so ask Jon about that if you look toward the centre of the image.

The second looks similar to his modified h&a with the slightly longer lower girdle facets, these are popular with both Jon and some of his clients as the longer LGF gives a thinner more splintery look to the arrows and sharper flashes of light.

Both look like great stones, I would discuss each with Jon and maybe he can make a comparison video for you.

The Adiamor stone has good basic proportions but no way to tell if it is h&a as no images provided to support this claim. I don't know if they supply images of both hearts and arrows, you would need to ask them.

Your right on the third link i went there and couldnt find the H&A. that seems to be my biggest problem as well when i went to the jewelry store. i think the additional information as well as the different tests/charts the GOG puts up makes the analazing of them so much easier. im hoping to get an email into jon today. thanks for the information im not exactly sure by the tilting of the hearts but im guessing the left and right side at 3 and 9 the hint of red on the hearts?
