Sharing the stone I chose for a RHR/anniversary ring!

Hi all! I'm super excited to share that I'm getting a Sholdt Ava set with a 0.72ct LGD, for an upcoming anniversary.

When I got engaged 7 years ago, I didn't actually want a proper "rock" e-ring so to speak as it's not my style and I still only wear a very flush set band on my wedding ring finger. But I've always loved the Sholdt semi-bezel as a piece of craftsmanship separate from whether or not it's used as an e-ring, and had the perfect opportunity to get it as a RHR/anniversary present from DH!

Fast forward to now - LGDs (which I was always interested in over earth diamonds, in theory) seem to have become a lot more reputable, to the point that even BGD offers them.. without further ado I present my chosen stone! They don't normally do ASET images of their lab diamonds but I requested it and they've just uploaded it here -

Admittedly I don't have much experience at all with diamonds but I think I've done my research and she looks like a stunner! HCA score was 0.9. I'm a size 5-6 on my right hand and I think the stone size will be perfect for me and my style (I prefer understated, in case that wasn't obvious )

Ooh yes I'm doing 14k rose gold to match my wedding ring below - these days I wear it alone as a combo e-ring/wedding ring or with a half-eternity with about 7 pointers. I think both this and the Sholdt have somehow a very modern yet minimalist art deco-ey vibe if that makes sense! Can't wait to see them together..

I totally forgot to update with hand pics - here they are!! I'm awful at taking these so apologies in advance and please ignore the dry hands and un-done nails

I've been wearing it daily on either my middle or ring finger on my right hand depending on how warm it is/how much my fingers swell, and I love it so much!! It's so comfortable and really feels like me, and also looks so special! The stone is absolutely gorgeous and perfect, so sparkly and white, I wouldn't change a thing!
