This is my placeholder ring while I slowly collect stones for my impending graduated 5(7?) stone. I sold off almost all of my (tiny) collection of diamond jewelry in order to start purchasing loose stones and set aside funds for the setting. My finger has been naked!
I was always partial to lower color diamonds. I love YG and all things buttery. My last solitaire was an M color. This is the first time I’ve owned anything above an I/J. Very nice!
1 tcw, F/G VS from JA. They had some sort of a sale recently so snagged one to have something on my finger with some sparkle. after wearing it a little while, I think I could’ve gotten away with the 1.5. And I had them both ordered, too, I was going to pick one after trying both. Alas, I cancelled the 1.5.
I came to the realization that I much prefer bands to solitaires on me. I’ve had a princess, RB halo’d, square emerald and RB and I never was quite happy with them. I think the reason was that it didn’t feel like me? Anyway I’m happy with this little guy and now extra inspired to make good choices and and take my time with my 5 or 7 stone project.
