IGI F VS2 Ideal cut. HCA 1.0. HPHT type 2. A bit spready.

Experience with Clean Origin: The entire process was smooth. Site is workable. They don’t offer photos of most loose diamonds in the size range I was looking for. That, coupled with no inclusion plot on the cert, forced me to blind buy. They have a 100 day return policy, but still - I hope they one day start offering specific and better photography. The photos they offer of larger diamonds aren’t that great, either.

Packaging however was great. I’ve mostly used James Allen for my diamond purchases, I think I’ve probably ordered from them eight or nine times already. And every time I get the giant box within a giant box and it seems really like a lot of waste. I was really glad Clean Origin kept their packaging minimal and functional.

I’ve louped this guy at 10x and 20x. I can see one small inclusion near a pavilion facet. Hard to tell but it looks brown like a tiny, tiny grain of rice. I don’t see any stria, but I’m not sure I’m knowledgeable enough to, or if my 20x is powerful enough. It’s obviously eye clean. I laid in on the whitest paper I have and I’m not seeing body color. Too bad I don’t have any other loose stones to compare it to.

I like it so much I just ordered two more.
They’re definitely good enough for me ;-)

Please excuse my photos. They’re the best I can do with my iPhone and a loupe. It’s sparkles nicely and I’m pumped!

Amazing! Are you gonna keep it? :)

Yeah, I’m gonna keep it. I did return a .53 because it wasn’t impressing me. But I’ll keep this one and I just ordered two more .30s. We shall see how those are.

ETA - Why? Do you see something I don’t? I’m not the most knowledgeable so please share if you see issues with it.

Looks really nice!

Do you mind posting the proportions profile from the cert?

Also I somehow flubbed the thread title.

It’s a .45 ct. That was supposed to be in the title. My bad.

No worries - it looks a LOT bigger than 0.45ct due to the spread! Very nice!

Yeah it’s a bit spready. I’ve got two more, both .30s and CVD (this one is HPHT), on the way. .07 (questionable) and a 1.3 HCA scores, respectively. I’m actually really excited about one of them. Weird numbers and I hope it’s winds up being a good weird.
