Shallow/u cut pave durability?

I'm trying to talk myself into the sturdier bright set pave, but god is the u cut gorgeous. Those of you who have shallow/u cut pave erings and bands - have you had any trouble with the shank going off round, stones popping out, etc? Any insight appreciated.

I have the bright cut, I've never had any problems. We've seen people on here who have had problems with the more delicate pave, it's a risk for sure. Insuring the ring and wearing it appropriately are your best bets.
