Setting this funky colored lab emerald cut

I am creating a halo pendant in 14k wg with this 6.10mmx 4.23mm fancy greenish yellow emerald cut diamond. It is cvd- which I am a little concerned about because I read that the other process is better. Do you think it will darken or deaden the steps if I bezel the stone and then halo the outside of the bezel? Or should I just do a typical halo of white mele? I am new to Imgur as well as figuring out how to make my cellphone take smaller MB sized videos for emailing to my laptop and Imgur didn't work with my cellphone videos directly. So- here is a short video of the stone. I had handled it and dropped it on the carpet. I don't think that it is hazy or whatever- just unclean.

That's such a cool color! I wouldn't bezel it though, I'd worry it wouldn't get as much light as I believe colored diamonds already don't have as much rainbow as their non color counterparts.
Are you set on a white halo? Purple sapphires would be fun, or maybe something grey hued?

Light obstuction is what I was afraid of. I hope the prongs don't detract from the shape. I really want a white diamond halo. This is a college graduation present from my close family so I want to have something that I can wear to dress up or dress down. I want it to be an everyday peice so I think white halo would be best.

It's here! NNJ on Etsy set it for me. I has a beautiful presence and the halo is delicate but noticeable.

My female family members funded this project as a graduation present which makes this peice seem all that much more beautiful to me.
