I have an Alexandrite that was given to me by my mother that I'm finally looking to set in a RHR. It's probably a synthetic from what I've read, but it has sentimental value because it was purchased by my Grandfather when he was in the Navy in the 50's.
Anyhow, my ER is a white gold solitaire and I love the simplicity. I'm looking for probably another wg setting (though not opposed to yg) for this one and somewhat simple for everyday wear. I definitely want a petite band. For reference, it's probably about 2.5 carats (maybe 3.0) and oval shape.
So...bring on your RHR ovals in about that size, if you don't mind!
