Setting help please

Hello,

Wondering if the expertise of the forum can help out. I'm looking for something as close as the Cartier 1895 Solitaire setting. Its what I think my GF would really love and I like it too. The problem being, the price is ridiculous and my budget doesn't even come close. Im planning to use the setting with an Emerald cut diamond around the 0.70/0.80 ct depending on budget.

Ive seen a couple thats close:

That first James Allen setting is very similar indeed. I really like it. Im not really liking the trellis design one though.

Ive been in contact with Charles at good old gold recently as I ended up getting my first one from Jon at good old good many years ago. We were very happy with that one... Until we split up ha. We are back together after a few years apart, so all good!!

I spent a a bit of time first time round getting clued up on the different specs of an Emerald cut but unfortunately Im not so sharp on them these days. I do prefer them on the slightly longer side though. What ratio would you say the cartier one is?

My budget is around $3500 for the diamond and setting. Its not a lot compared with some you see on this but we have had so many outgoings the last year or so, so its all I can afford. Im just really like everyone else, I want to get the best diamond available for my money.
