Setting help needed, pretty please!

A decision has been made! BF and I would rather be engaged sooner than waiting for the money to be saved for the ''dream setting''. It''ll just have to wait. Sad, but the man is worth more.

So now I''m on the hunt for a plain old white gold setting. My eventual setting will be a paved band with halo, so going to a solitaire is quite the opposite. It will house a cushion of around .5 cts.

Where can I look? I searched Blue Nile, Abazias (which had the best prices), Whiteflash (where the stone might come from) and nothing really struck me. I''m trying to keep it as budget friendly as possible but want it to fit me too. Can you setting experts help?

I know it''s not much, but I want something that I can use later on with a gemstone, so I need to like it, if that makes sense...

James Allen has a few very inexpensive settings if I remember correctly.

Aeromax got his diamond from ERD (a good source for cushions too!) so you don''t have to get the stone and setting from the same place...

Sunny, not sure what style you''re after, but here is my thread with a $270 basic setting I had made from GOG - mine was Rose gold on request, I''m sure WG won''t be a problem. I like mine a lot, and will infact eventually put a coloured gem in it, just like you.
