Setting help earrings

I got beautiful 1.6 carat diamond studs last year, and since then my previous 0.3 carat ttw studs have been gathering dust. I've been thinking of putting them in a new setting, little antique looking dangles like the ones I'm attaching below, but I'm fearing they might be too small to get a nice effect. Does anyone have an expert opinion on this?

I am not sure about resetting 15 pointers. I think they are pretty as they are. Do you by chance have a daughter who would eventually enjoy wearing them? You'd likely have to have them custom made, and I think I'd almost rather pick out a new pair of drop earrings than try to do custom. But it certainly is something you can do if you really love a particular design!

I have a pair of vintage diamond drops, they are 11 pointers in each ear. They are very light and easy to wear but there is a fair bit of sparkle from them. You'd probably have to get them custom made, as DS says. I don't have a pic of me wearing them, this is from the original listing.

Or have you considered turning them into dangles that you could wear hanging off of small hoop earrings? I think
15 pointers would be big enough for that. Something like these but I would just have the hoop on the dangle made
bigger so you could slide it right on over small hoop earrings. These are 10 pointers.

I have a pair of 0.33ctw princess cuts from WF that I converted to dangles when I got other studs. Princess cuts face up smaller than rounds, and I've found that the dangles help give the stones more presence. I had IDJ change the settings for me. I believe they removed the post and soldered the hesd to the hook. I opted for fixed head, kite shaped back then. I think for Rounds I'd have them oscillating not fixed.

You may want to also get a quote for someone like David Klass, who's usually quite reasonable.
