Setting Help, Already purchased Diamond

I wish I found this site prior to getting the diamond! It''s awesome. My gf has a size 6 finger and I purchased a 1.25 carat diamond at the Jewerly District in Los Angeles. I''m worried that I should have spent more for a 1.50 carat diamond now. Sigh. I know she will love it but still...

Anyway, I need help on a setting!

She prefers a thin width (I''m thinking 2.7mm at the very largest and ideally 2.5mm or smaller).
She also likes the classic tiffany setting except for the knife edge part.

I''m considering asking WF or someone else to make a Platnum Classic-Tiffany-Style-Knife-Edge, except with a 1/2 round band instead of a knife edge.

My question is this: If it is even possible to do this (I''m working with WF on it right now) do you think it would look good?

you''re in good hands with WF. I''m sure they can customize the band to a more comfort fit rather than the knife edge and i think it would look just as lovely.
