Last Valentines day I got an absolutely beautiful piece of topaz from my husband. Since then it''s been sitting in a drawer while I figure out what I want to do with it. I want a pendant, but I don''t like most of the settings that I see. I''m looking for a setting that doesn''t cover the bottom (pointy) part... Any ideas?
I actually might not mind something that "hugs" the gem like this:
I love this, but I think mine''s a bit too small
...
I love things that are "different", so hanging it at a 45-degree angle or something would be okay... Basically, the more creative the better!
Pics of your suggestions are appreciated so I can show them when I have it made. ...I also need to know who can make the setting for me. If I can''t find anyone local (Western suburbs of Chicago), is there someone online anyone can recommend?
Thanks in advance!
