Setting and Diamond advice

Hello,

possible engagement ring for my girlfriend. The diamond is a oval .90 CT SI2 - F. Was just wondering what you guys think and if $3,200 of the loose stone and $1,500 for the setting is a decent price. Thanks

At James Allen prices on a .9 F/SI2 oval go from about $2k to $3270 so yours is on the higher end.
Is your stone GIA certified? That will make a difference.

Same question as to if this is GIA graded. Maybe it’s just the photo, but the stone does not look like F color to me.

I agree with others above. Need paperwork if GIA and need to verify the color as it does not look like an F in that photo. Have you discussed the setting with your soon to be fiance yet? Does she like that setting? Is that setting 18k white gold or platinum? Lots of unknowns still so hard to comment on price.
