SES Reviews ... Anyone own/ consider their designs lately?

I searched the forum, but I could not find much history on SES. I was "sold" on the Simon G PR108 until today ... now I am conflicted!

I DID go to Diamonds Direct and look at the setting closely in person. I also viewed a number of EGL certified 1.5 carat stones that are doable for this upgrade! Here are the two rings on my hands. The Simon G is shown with a CZ 1 carat for display. The SES does have one of the potential stones "placed" in the setting.

Thoughts????

Hi i can't really help you but just to say that profile shows what might well be an example of a fragile setting. Perhaps search for a thread earlier this year, started by Kenny on thin rings and fragility?

Good luck

What is SES  .

SES is a brand name .... just like Simon G, Tacori, etc.

I'd love opinions on the two featured!

it's hard to tell from pictures...is there one you liked better? they look pretty similar

I like the Simon G better. I am partial to his work. I think it looks more delicate and finished.

Just my opinion

Thanks, friends! I appreciate the feedback. I am a little torn, but we are going tomorrow evening to decide. My mom is a big diamond fanatic, too, so I have asked her to come with us. It will take 4-6 weeks to get the setting back regardless, so I am preparing to be very patient ;)
