Am I allowed to post item for sale in this forum? If not, what are my choices beside eBay and other auction houses?

You can also look into jewelry stores that take fine pieces in consignment.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions to everybody. I think that places like Erica would be a total waste of time because she never sold anything above $20K and this one is closer to $50K.

If it is that expensive, how about really fine auctions? I saw Christie's listings - they were selling an alexandrite ring for 45K if my memory does not fail me...

Thanks, that is where I'm leaning toward to. Will call them tomorrow, also was thinking about the naturalsaphires.com or whatever their name is. Seems. like they have the right stuff on their web site though I think Christie's or Sotheby's would be more efficient due to their exposure and clientele.
