Hello All,

I'm new to the forum. I joined to see if anyone had any knowledge on a ring that was passed down to me by my grandmother. She told me it was ger grandfather's, but that might be inaccurate. If that's true, that would date it to the kate 19th or early 20th century.

It's a ~10mm domed cigar band ring in 18k. I had it resized and I'm using it as my wedding band. It does have a jeweler's mark that reads "M&R CO". I've done the google routine, but couldn't find any info. Does anyone here have any information on this jeweler? Thanks!

its really nice
i love a wide band
how lovelly the family history is

Thank you! I love the ring and the heirloom aspect made it perfect for a wedding band. I'm just completely stumped on the maker's mark. I've searched all over & can't find any mention of it. I'm starting to wonder if it was a small, independent local jeweler.
