Hey everyone,

It's getting time to pop the question and i'm seeking for a nice ring. I'm not looking for the perfect diamond but i am looking for a eye clean 1.2-1.5 carat diamond. Budget being max of about $7k-$8.5k for the rock.
It's important that is sparkles so cut is very important followed by clarity. I'm looking to make the purchase is the next 2 weeks or so.

What is your opinion on this one:

The setting will most likely will be platinum and solitare. I was shooting for a H color but hopefully with the solitare setting the "I" color won't be very noticeable. Please give me your thoughts and any suggestions. Thanks.

That's a stunning stone!! :appl:

Ahh...this is so confusing my head is spinning.
This is my thought process right now. Cut is important to me so i'm realllly starting to focus on getting the hearts and arrows design. Maybe i shouldn't but i really like the way it looks...is it worth the extra cost associated with it?

Also, to my understanding, with an ideal cut i can sacrifice a little on the color and get either an H or I and save some money there. Again the stone will be in a soliare setting so that should help as well.
As of right now, I dont know if i like blue flour stones.

From what i've been researching, reading and reviewing
1: Brian Gavin top of the line but there is a premium price you pay which pushes me over my budget
2: Whiteflash - similar quality, priced a bit better then BGD, also has nice quality cuts. I can call and ask about the diamond being eye clean.
3: James Allen- seems to be the cheapest of the 3 when it comes to a few stones but the hearts and arrows is still pricey. I can also call and ask about it being eye clean.

Clarity will need to be SI1/VS2 to make it affordable.

Whenever I look at the GIA + AGS reports I always look at the diamond inclusions. Some of the si1 diamonds have A LOT while others not so many. The diamond MUST BE eye clean so should i care how many inclusions there are? My gut feeling is your paying a ton of money for this thing so the less inclusions the better.

Also, no one said anything about the original diamond i posted. I know it has a ton of inclusions and thats why i'm guessing its priced fairly low.

Once again, thank you for your help.

Can't tell the difference between HA and without. Big difference between G and J.
