She wants a big blue stone and this is a tone she doesn't have. If she doesn't like it I wouldn't mind keeping it. I think it's gorgeous.

@KristinTech and anyone else looking for opals: I just saw a darker aussie opal on sale via LT. I'm not too knowledgeable about them since they aren't my favorite, but this one looks really pretty!

I saw this promotion a few days ago and just picked up two beautiful garnets--a hexagonal pink rhodolite and an oval purple one. If they are as pretty in person as in the photos/video, then I will be very happy.

I have no idea and I'm going to let her chose between the two stones depending on how nice they are!

The aqua is intended for her but if she wants the pink instead she can have that too.

Four years ago, I bought my sister a Barry Bridgestock green tourmaline and she stil hasn’t decided how to set it. :roll

It's arrived and it's beautiful and it hurts my soul to have to give it away. I'm seriously feeling a bit upset at having to hand this over. I love my sister I really do. This is the perfect shade of blue green. The stone is gorgeous and everything I could want in terms of cut and colour.





Tourmaline is gorgeous as well. Nny photos don't do this one any justice. It's got lots of contrast and not dark like in the photos! I dunno why the camera kills it.

Where do you get your stock settings? I was looking for setting last night but couldn't decide on anything.

The ovals are tricky but I get mine from a shop in Sydney Chinatown.

They can adjust settings to make things fit if you're not too fussy about settings. I'm pretty chilled with my settings so stock ones are fine.

I finally set this ! It’s a pendant that I’m sharing with my daughters. I went with yellow gold. I was thinking of rose gold, but the service manager said it is weaker than yellow or white gold. Is that true?

I really want a black opal now.
