I am looking for some help reading this GIA report. I am looking for a 3 carat, or close to it, center stone, that perhaps has inclusions but those types of inclusions (such as twinnings) that may not significantly effect the performance of the stone (brilliance) or make the stone appear milky...so I'm going with I color, also looking at the depth (this one might be a bit deep), table etc. I am def looking for one of those 'hidden' values...where I can get the bigger stone with a good bit of sparkly, even if there are a few inclusions that aren't really that noticeable...so, yeah, one of those hidden 'gems'...that you can sell cheap but some might not like because they looks so graphic on the GIA map. I don't care if there are inclusions that can hardly be seen with the naked eye as long as the diamond is not just all dull and milky or appears scratched and blackish.

Are there experts that could help with giving me an opinion on how this stone would look set in platinum with a 2 sparkly side stones, and a few pave - antique style setting. It would have a vintage look all together...
Thanks so much! Its so hard to see all these with no experience. just some ideas night be helpful.

OP, you may wish to hit "report concern" and ask the moderator to move your thread over to the "Rocky Talky" forum - it will get more views there and likely more replies.

That said, even if this marquise is well-priced, I'd suggest passing on it because all of the inclusions do look like they affect the overall brilliance, sparkle, and transparency of the diamond such that its performance would adversely affected.

Perhaps if you include your budget others could suggest some alternatives for you.

That 3.02ct I-I1 marquise faces up apx 14x7mm ... not sure how this compares price-wise with the marquise or if you even like pears, but this JA 2.0ct J-IF pear has a face-up of 10x7mm and if you compare the marquise video and the pear video, I think you'll see the pear definitely outperforms and outsparkles the marquise -- the pear has a very nice pear shape with great proportions, and of course its clarity at IF is amazing. https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/pear-shaped/2.00-carat-j-color-if-clarity-sku-684509
