So I took your advice and went with Jon at DG for my eternity band He’s commissioned me a lovely 7ct with 14 HA stones at approx .5 each in platinum. They sent over the pics on Friday and it looks beautiful but I have some concerns about the setting. It’s shared prong basket style. In the mock up the prongs are towards the outer edge of the diamonds but in the actual ring they are very close to the middle. Also the stones seem to be hanging over the edge of the basket quite a bit. Should I be concerned about integrity? Thoughts?

I think it's beautiful!!! The prongs being close together is common with large eternity bands and gives a look that I (personally) prefer. I wouldn't be concerned, although obviously be careful not to smack it on things

Thank you! That’s very helpful. Unfortunately, after reviewing the images more closely I’ve found other discrepancies in the setting (from the model I was shown) so I’m not exactly sure what’s going on. I’m wondering if I was sent the wrong images or if the wrong setting was used. At any rate, I have every confidence Jon will sort it out next week
