I searched old threads, and I couldn''t find anything that really addresses this issue- what''s the easiest/best way to resize your rings seasonally? I got my engagement ring in July and it fit fine. The size is 5.5. We got my wedding band in September, and it is a size 5.25. The size 5 fit, but I thought it would be too tight in the summer. Now that the weather is getting a little colder, both rings slide around and twist and turn like Crazy. I imagine it''ll only get worse when real winter hits. Anyway, I''d rather not have to solder on sizing beads and take them off every 6 months, so I was wondering if there are any other options that don''t look tacky? I''ve seen the plastic ring sizers, and I''ve also seen some gold plated ring sizers online. I''m wondering if anyone uses these methods? The plastic sizers looked really obvious. The gold plated sizers looked a little less obvious, but you have to use pliers to get the to fit snugly inside of the ring, and I don''t know if I want to do that either, or if that would damage my band. So I guess my question is, are soldered sizing beads really the best way to go, or are there other options that I don''t know about? Thanks guys!
